planner will not feed. Rollers roll but when I feed the board it is like it is hitting a block. First time I used it everything worked fine. Second time halfway through it stopped feeding and I had to manually pull the board through. Now it will not feed at all.
I had the same issue, come to find out the speed knob was in neutral. While on, move switch to 1 or 2.

This morning as I was running rough oak boards my planer began to have a noise that sounds like a growl and something vibrating the machine. I took the top off to get down to see the cutter bar turn while running; still had the noise.
I took the left side panel off to see the cogs and chains turning while in use. Saw nothing out of place.
Took right side panel off to see drive belt and linkage o that side while running; all seemed normal.
Felt around the machine while running. Maybe motor felt some vibration but not sure the sound is travelling from somewhere else.
The planer is doing what it is supposed to do but this noise makes me think something is going bad. A bearing or motor.
Can you help. I use my planer alot and depend on it.
My brand new never used DW735 planer is not feeding.
I have push really hard to get the wood to go in.
The it only planes about three inches and stops.
Have to turn the device off and raise it to get the wood out.

My planer trips the 20 amp circuit breaker in my home circuit breaker panel when I first turn it on. Reset breaker and everything is fine for the rest of the day. The next time I use it it does the same thing.
